In the field of science and research, the Faculty of Economics focuses on basic and applied research in the field of economic sciences, not only in cooperation with other universities, research institutions, but also with businesses and entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Since 2009, the Faculty of Economics has published a quarterly magazine Ekonomická revue - Central European Review of Economic Issues. The thematic focus of the journal includes economics, finance, management, business economics and the application of informatics and mathematics in economic disciplines.
