Accommodation options

Conference participants must arrange their accommodation individually.

Each participant can arrange accommodation at 3* hotel Garni VŠB-TUO. It is on the campus of the university (15 minutes' walk to EKF). There are different types of rooms available. For more info, see the website: Garni VŠB-TUO.

Participants may make reservations on the website: Booking using the code: MME2026.

Below is a list of suggested accommodation options for MME 2026 participants. 

  • Hotel Maria
    • Located in the city centre, approximately 25–30 minutes from the university campus. Breakfast is included.

  • Mercure Ostrava Center
    • Located in the city centre, approximately 25–30 minutes from the university campus. Breakfast is included. This is the most luxurious option on the list.

  • Ubytování Stračena
    • Located in Ostrava-Poruba, approximately 8 minutes on foot from the university campus. Please note that capacity is limited.

  • Třebovický mlýn
    • Located in Třebovice. Although it is relatively close to the campus, the nearest bus or tram stop is approximately 10–15 minutes away on foot, followed by around 5 minutes by public transport.

  • Penzion Start Ostrava
    • Located in the Poruba/Pustkovec area, approximately 10 minutes on foot from the university campus. This is a modest guesthouse offering different room sizes and apartments.
