The Research Café serves as an informal communication platform that enables researchers and academics from the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Czech Republic, and abroad to present the results of their research in the field of theoretical and applied economics, including work in progress or research proposals, and to receive valuable feedback from colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.

• The main objectives of the Café include improving the quality of research at the Faculty of Economics of VSB–Technical University of Ostrava and other research institutions in the Moravian-Silesian Region, strengthening research cooperation among them, and creating a constructive, creative, and welcoming environment for professional discussions.

Research Cafés are held on Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in room KA416 at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB-TUO.
