The Department of Systems Engineering continues the tradition of former departments, i.e. the Department of Automated Control Systems in Economics, later transformed into the Department of Systems Engineering (from which the current one emerged in time), which were among the oldest departments at the Faculty of Economics. The current form of the department develops this tradition and expands it with new and modern professional topics. The department builds on many years of experience with the education of specialists - systems engineers who can work in various fields of management support.
The professional focus of the members of the department covers the issue of quantitative and IT support of various areas of the management system in organizations and institutions.
