Department of Law currently provides education in all main areas of effective law of the Czech Republic (including connection to communitary law) with special emphasis on the economic, financial and business areas. The department´s pedagogues guarantee education of the subject Law for Economists in the attendance and combined forms of study at entire faculty level and in detached workplace as well. They also take part in the Property Pricing Course and at the University of the Third Age.
Education is focused on a mutual interaction of legal and economic processes and relations. It is provided in the form of lectures and seminars emphasizing an acquirement of skills and their practical application together with an effective support of e-learning in LMS MOODLE.
Department of Law guarantees education in the specialization Economics and Law in Business, the study programme Economics and Management, in bachelor and master forms of study. The study is focused and structured in the way to make the graduates be able to work at professional economical and managerial positions as well as at other specialized functions of organizations and institutions of public administration. The graduate is perfectly prepared to work in the field of international trade.
