The conference on Strategic Management and its Support by Information Systems follows the tradition of conferences arranged since 1995, then in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and in 2011. Participants from several European Countries regularly took part in the conferences and created an enriching framework for presentations and discussions touching the conferences topics. Success of the conferences committed the organising committee to arrange a similar meeting in 2013.
Strategic management and its information systems support progresses rapidly creating new challenges for the professionals involved. Progress comes from research as well as practical experience. Changes being carried out in Central and East Europe at present emphasize the needs of new developments in this area. Many new concepts and approaches are to be discussed. The various theories, methods and tools available to system developers also bring problems such as choosing the most effective approach for a specific task. The aim of the Conference is to establish an international forum for the exchange of knowledge, experience and new ideas to share and stimulate new solutions. This conference will provide a meeting place for researchers and practitioners from Central, Eastern and Western Europe, as well as from other parts of the world.
English is the language of the Conference.
