Ekonomická revue – Central European Review of Economic Issues is a scientific journal published by Faculty of Economics, VŠB-Technical University Ostrava. It is published quarterly since 1998. The journal area of interest covers all topics in business/economics disciplines, but mainly current issues in economics, finance, management, business economy, and also related applications of mathematics and informatics. Original papers focusing on any of the topics mentioned above are welcome.
Recently, the journal has been included into ERIH PLUS databases. Moreover, the journal is recognized by the Research and Development Council as a reviewed journal eligible for research assessment in the Czech Republic (see www.vyzkum.cz). The journal content is also covered by EconLit and EBSCO. Currently, we assign unique identifiers (DOI names) to all papers published in the journal.
Papers can be submitted to . We kindly ask potential authors to follow the instructions about the structure of the paper before they proceed to submission procedure. The papers written in English are preferred, although in some special cases papers written in Czech may be published. Title, Abstract and Keywords in English should be included in all cases. The paper’s length shouldn’t be over 20 pages, when the template is followed.
Each year, a special issue focusing on research results of PhD students and young researchers is published (usually in September).
